factory boards for ex cab

Do they offer the "chrome" running boards for the ex cab? If not how far off would the Screw boards be from fitting.

factory boards for SC

They offer "bright polished" running boards on the supercab. I've got a pair sitting in my garage that came w/ my '04 FX4. I'll likely post them on eBay soon.

Only difference between extended and screw is the length and mount spacing.

I put factory screw boards on my extended. Had to drill a few holes and swap lt. to rt. to avoid a brace.

If you have adjustable mounts, then just slide the mounts forward and they will bolt right up. The only difference otherwise is the length, I like the screw on my extended, they go all the way to the back of the cab in stead of just short of the back

Think I might have one in my gallery, but it's just the back edge, if you didn't look close you wouldn't realize they are about five inches too long.

If you pick up a tubular, especially the aftermarket, they will have adjustable brackets and will go right on. In my case I'm trying to keep things looking stock, but wanted the longer boards, and the price was right There was a brace where the molded mount lined up, but since theye were the same from side to side except for the offset center bracket, swaping them side to side effectively shifted the center bracket enough to avoid the brace.

It's an easy install, as long as you have a little patience, and a uni-bit for a few holes in my case.

sorry for the delay

Sorry about that, haven't returned to the site for a few days. I took the running boards off the day I got the truck home. They are in perfect condition, sitting in my garage. I'd prefer to have someone come pick them up (then we save shipping), but I'd certainly ship them. Send me an email (chris_mumm@hotmail.com).

price

Looking around, $150 seems pretty reasonable for the pair. A $350 option that I would have happily exchanged for the power sliding rear window. Drop me a note if anyone wants to lift the $150 offer.
