Another Wrecked F-150

This time it's mine! While driving to college this morning my fiance wrecked my 05' F-150. It is definetly totalled, and comes at the worst time since I just got a lot of mod's finished on it.

Recently I installed the Edge Evo, Billet Grille, Billet Bumper Grille, Flowmaster 40 Series, K&N 77 Series intake, tint, 295 terra grapplers, and I just ordered my 35 Nitto Mud Grapplers on 20" Turbine Wheels. I am not going to cancel the order on the wheels and tires or lift....I'm going to save them for my new F-150. I did save my edge, billet grille, terra grapplers, and k&n intake. However the intake will not be of any use since I'm upgrading to a Screw XLT or FX4 with a 5.4L V8(4.6L V8 was in this truck). I have also already got a guy wanting my 295 nitto's and the insurance will cover the truck. So I should have a nice down payment in hand on Friday to buy a new truck.

I really hate that this happened as the bumper grille, exhaust, and tint are all gone. Plus this truck was trouble free, and I had only put 15k miles on it since April 05.

But the best part is my fiance escaped with only minor injuries. She was more worried about me being mad then anything else, but what matters the most is that she is ok. Trucks are made everyday, but I could never replace her if something worse had happened. So I'm planning on taking the rest of the week off work so I can get everything straightened out and done by the end of the weekend. It will be hectic. Tomorrow I have to take off all my personal belongings and what not(and replace the performance stuff with factory). Then I meet the insurance adjuster on Thursday morning(when he tells me it's totalled he will get everything rolling). Then friday(when they say it's totalled) I have to go pick up the insurance check early and get it put in my checking account so I can payoff the 12k I owe Ford....then Saturday I go pick out a new truck.....

Which leads me to this.....what are the prices you guys are seeing on some of the 06' leftovers? I am hearing a lot of advertisements for XLT Screw's loaded with towing packages under 30k?

It's always awesome to see people genuinely in love. I wish the best of luck with your truck, and especially you two.

Absolutely!

Breaks my heart, nonetheless.

Glad everyones alright. I just got hit and run by a mustang sunday. Everyone in my car is ok just sore. Have no idea about the 2 in the mustang but I kinda hope they got what they deserved. They rear ended me, Lifted my rear end off the ground. It looked like there airbags did not go off. Twisted up my bumper and hitch but no body damage. I think he went under me. Oh well 500 deductable down the tubes 1500 total damage.

On the topic of a choice of new truck I got my lariat scab for 26 4 months ago. I bet you can find a 06 Lariat screw for under 25 right now.

She was going to college and had to cross a notorious hill. Multiple wrecks occur on this 200-300yrd stretch when it's raining or snowing. This morning it was sleeting and she was going up hill when she lost control and hit the hillside. She just happened to hit a low spot in the hill where it was slipping and it flipped back into the road on it's side. I will try to pick a few more pic's off my camera to show some of the other spots on the truck.

Give me 15min and I should have some more uploaded....and even with the recent rash of F-150 wrecks on these forums everyone seems to be escaping with little to no injuries. The F-150's are definetly one of the safest vehicles on the highways, and I will have another one.
