OK, been a long time since wallpaper #9 came out, so I thought I'd cobble something together really quickly (I have another wallpaper cooking in the oven already). Nothing really crazy this time, just a concept for what a 2005 "Heritage Limited" Lightning might look like if Ford decided to throw us a bone (now that they "canceled" the next Lightning) by scraping up some leftover spare parts and adding some other unique touches and colors in a conservative/cheap package (maybe $4,000 additional for special brakes and suspension components?). Yes I know production stopped months ago, but a guy can dream, can't he?

Mild cosmetic modifications might include:

- Special paint colors (see below) available for 2005 only
- Body color painted trim (bumpers, step pads, bed caps, mirrors)
- Smoke-tinted headlight and taillight lenses
- Satin silver upper and lower grill finish
- Staggered 22" "chrome shadow" smoke multi-spoke wheels (22"x10" front, 22"x11" rear)
- Stainless exhaust tips

Mechanical modifications might include:
- Sport suspension
- Big brake kit
- 390 horsepower supercharged 5.4-liter V8

1600 x 1200: Emerald Green

1600 x 1200: Topaz Blue

1600 x 1200: Slate

Haha NO! Because the Ford SVT "Heritage Limited" Lightning is only available in the above colors!

Color changes are hard but maybe I'll play with a couple more later on. Getting ready for Valentine's stuff this evening so I may not have time until tomorrow.

Very nice, your expertise at photo shop is top notch. I have a little gripe though, I think the exaust protrudes too far out from the side skirt, but over all the pics are great. I would love one in DSG for my wall paper

 

Yeah, I based this on a photo of my own truck obviously, and my tips stick way out since I installed the hi flow cats:



I like it that way, but I hear more *pings* from rocks bouncing off them.
