JDM Phenolic Spacer Dyno Graphs

First let me explain that a total of 4 pulls where made. 2 pulls back to back, cold and hot without the spacer. A 2 hour cool down, then 2 pulls back to back, cold and hot with the spacer.

The runs without the spacer are Runfile .001(cold) and .002(hot)
The runs with the spacer are Runfile .003(cold) and .004(hot)

With the engine temp at 176 the first pull was made without the spacer. The intercooler temp was 99 and rose to 128 during the first pull. I didn't get any temp reading for the second run without the spacer, but it was pulled very shortly after the first.

After the cool down period and with the spacer installed the engine was reading 178 and the intercooler temp was 104 and rose to 128 during the pull. No temps where taken during the second pull, but it was made shortly after.
I might add, that after the second pull without the spacer, the intake plenum was warm to the touch. After the cool down period and the spacer was installed, the plenum was cold to the touch after the second pull. Sorry, no temperature reading other than my fingers

So here are the the first pulls without the spacer (.001) and with the spacer(.003)

And these are the hot (second) pulls without (.002) and with the spacer(.004)

I hope this helps clear some *misconceptions* of what works and what doesn't work for our trucks. I think its a GREAT MOD

***BTW***
Before the kids come on and start some chit, Let it be known that I run parts from the following tuners.....
PSP
JDM
JLP
LFP
ChikenEars
Gator Speed Parts
Ruslow

**edit to add Ruslow**
(I forgot )

I'll try to answer any questions best I can. I didn't get to try the newly found hp as it was raining all the way home. But as you can see, there is hp and most importantly tq to be found with this spacer. It cheap hp the way I look at it.
The only question I got, is this.........

"How do those words taste now, you disbeliever"
No names needed

I'm with Gator!
No one gains from all the bashing!
Gator I personally thank you for the info!
I would rather be accused of doing some thing than doing nothing!
JDM has tried to be on the cutting edge of this sport I applaud them and the
rest of the tuners who dare to be the best. It's true you cant please everyone but the proof as they say is in the pudding!
I too run modes by….
Magnum Powers
JLP
JDM
Razors Edge
PSP
Everyone of them have talked to me personally and have done what they said they would! This is not a slam to any one so please don't take it that way. "Respect is earned never given!"

Peace, Suavy

From what I can see, it works, one question -- how thick is the spacer?.

Now please test with 1/2 inch aluminum spacer to determine if the gain is because of the length of the spacer or because the upper plenum is cooler.

Gator,

Just what you need. More H.p. and Torque.

Nitrous Ronbo is going to looking at taillights for a while.

Thanks JDM for a SWEET MOD that works.

Unfortunately with the Shaker Hood I cannot (Height issues) be getting this mod , So I will have to live with spacer envy.
