Another F-150 VS Titan story
K here it goes, I was driving down one of the city roads down in FL yesterday with a few friends. I get to a stop light, not thinking of racing and their takes off a crewcab Titan, so I went to play n caught him around a bend in the road cause he let off and I held into it cause I know my truck being lowered and on rims can take turn way better. I get to the next light and hes says *Nice truck but I still have 1000lbs of tools and a camper* so I said * i'm double ur size with a full cab and bigger rims*. Well anyways I got a even start off the line and I got him 0-50 then he started comeing up with the quickness, needless to say I was not happy, It might have been a stock truck but it sounded loud like if it had a volant or k&n intake. I can rape hemis and chevys all day why do I have to get beat by a NISSAN!!!?? I'm half tempted to put my stock wheels on for a week or so to go to Disney and to ride out another more. Just though I would share that with everyone gotta get to work now.

First of all, sweet truck, I love the look!
Secondly, your gonna have a hard time beating a Titan unless you start modding. Tuners are a great way to suck more power out of the 5.4, look at Edge Products or SCT Xcalibrator. The Titan's have more horsepower, more torque, and an excellent 5speed tranny that helps put more of the power to the ground. At least your truck doesn't look so freakin ugly

My 06 crew cab was just about neck and neck against a 07 Hemi.
Mine has an Xcal2, Volant, and a Roush exhaust. I think the only reason I beat him, was because my truck shifted faster, and that's because of the Xcal2.
So if I was stock, I would have had my A** handed to me.
But definitely an Xcal2 will help!
Thanks for the ones with positive replys, I have the XCAL 2 (V8 power tuned), volant intake, 2 1/2 pipe x 24" Magna Flow single side exhaust, and a spacer for performance parts, I also have 24" motto wheels wrap in a 305/35/24ZR, had a 2/4 drop but its only a 2/2 now cause of problems I had with mcgaugty leafs, train horns, LED 3RD and fire ice light bar with tinted stock tails, interor is all stock cept for deep tinted windows. Thinking of headers and pulleys next, would that be worth it?? Yeah sorry for using the term *rape* thats just another way of saying I have beat em, the 6.0 chevys give me a run, havent raced a 6.0 since I did my spacer, and I have not yet been beat by any dodge ram cept for modded ones, 4.7 bye bye, 5.7 hemi good run and the 5.9 are slow.. I live in west palm beach where its HOTT and knowing my truck is not a race truck its still fun to get on it every once in a while

Didn't know you already have the Xcal2. You say V8 power tuned it?
sorry for not adding my MODS in the frist thread but I am modded and I have no problem racing Hemis with exhaust,, dont get me wrong I have been beat by a hemi on 20's with exhaust tuner n intake, but go put it on some big boy wheels and then come talk.. Hemis are made for power, I think all of our F-150 look and drive alot nicer then dodges.. just my oppinion... remember our truck are only 220 rwhp stock not 300 like their rated,, i'm GUESSING im around 265 rwhp with the mods I have, I have not let done the dyno so dont qoute me.

I took raping as 5 truck lengths or more.
On 24"'s you have some good power their.
Everyone is always comparing these trucks speedwise. How does the titan and hemi compare for towing. I don't really see to many around my parts towing stuff. I think the extra weight of the f150 is nice for towing. Seems to handle the weight of a trailer better than older f150s.

did u say since u added a spacer? u might as well throw your money in the garbage if u are refering to a throttle body spacer that is no more then a paper weight. i wish u would of asked us before u bought it we could have saved u the money.
