Black Ford Ovals?

Is there anywhere you can buy a replacement Ford oval that is black & chrome instead of blue & chrome.

Not interested in a vinyl overlay.

Ford Racing has some billet ovals that look like they're black in the picture, but I don't know for sure... they may be blue.

They also have some nice billet Ford Racing ovals, but I don't think they really go with my truck. The Ford Racing ovals say they're blue and red, but they look black too.

Check out these links for some ideas if you don't mind doing it yourself.

And here's a place where you can get custom overlays, but if you've got an 06/07, then it's my understanding that you'll need to get an 04/05 oval because the 06/07 ovals have raised letters which creates a problem for the overlay.

And then there's the guys that makes custom badges if you've looking to go a step futher.

I have the Ford RACING Billet emblem, and sadly it is blue. I was hoping for black too... I may get it painted. shrug.

FYI, Ford is very proud of the blue oval. It's part of their trademark. Therefore, not only are they not going to make it in black, they're going to sue anyone (aftermarket) who tries to make one. You'll notice that even webxtremes no longer has the "Ford" script version overlays on their site. Now, that doesn't mean you couldn't get someone (perhaps BilletBadges) to make something for you, but I imagine it might be quite expensive.

I purchased these from web extremes and the ones they carry are not quite big enough. From a distance they look good. But about 2 feet away there is about 2mm of blue all they way around the decal. 12 bucks for front and bank. Not bad

Can you put it on the tailgate? It would match my floor mats, and I don't have a front emblem anymore.
