Thumbs up Grilles

I hope this post goes over bett than the previous one! Earlier this summer, I had the bodyshop at my dealer paint the upper and lower grilles on my L Argent to match the rims, and then clear coat them, talk about a difference over stock. I'll soon be getting a didgital cam and will post some pics for all to see.

Has anyone heard or read that the 2000L will have color keyed grilles. I was told by the dealer the mirrors would be color keyed but he was not sure about the grilles.

White 2000L on order since 11-9-99

Hey AirBurbs: My L is Black, mostly stock so far, only thing I did was polish the T-body. I also got a set of paint to match mirror covers from parts, my cost 15.00ea. and had the body shop shoot them black also, hard cover, bedrug, taillight, headlight, foglight covers,carbon-fiber dash kit (thats got to be were the money is at!), and a full blown Kenwood system including 2 12"subs behind the seat. Hope to get a pic up soon. Later Shawn

Hey Rumba83, mine is black, too. I also have a sub system in my Lightning. 2 8s in a subsolutions box, 200 watts. Couldn't find any other box that would fit in my cab. Then again I DO live in Alaska. Don't visit us, or you will decide to live here. We do not put up with certain laws, and the summers (read daytime) are beautiful.

Tundra,

I have an aunt and uncle who have lived in Anchorage for quiet a few years and love it. (They moved there from Arizona.) My wife and I plan to visit them there this summer. We're looking forward to it!

Here is a picture of the Trenz Billet Grille on the front of a Lightning. The grille is available here at the F150online.com Digital Marketplace Store.
