I see BFG A/t has 285/70 R17. Thinking of installing a set on stock 2001 F-150 4x2. Anyone see any problems? Now running stock 275/60 R17. Want the extra 3" in height. I have heard I will need to have dealer calibrate computer to match new tire size or I will not shift correctly. Any feed-back? Does any one have pics of 285/70 R17 on your 4X2?

 

I don't think that size will fit on 2WD F-150's without a lift kit. Could be wrong, but I think that is a little too large. Now, 4WD trucks, 285/70R17 is fine and what I have on my truck.
