This is as close as you’ll ever get to a brand-new 2003 7.3-liter Powerstroke Ford F-350.

Of all the diesel engines Ford has built, the 7.3-liter Powerstroke might just be the most popular. And it’s easy to see why. After all, the big mill was built before stricter diesel emissions laws went into effect. That means that these rigs are simpler and easier to work on. With proper care, they’ll run forever. And they can easily make huge power numbers with a few upgrades. But alas, you can’t buy a new truck with one. But you can buy this almost-new 2003 Ford F-350!

We spotted the incredible find while scanning eBay listings recently. And even before we noticed that the Super Duty sports only 611 original miles, were were struck by how clean it is. After all, most Super Dutys from this era are well used, as they should be. This truck, however, is a curious case. What would possess someone to buy a brand new Ford F-350 and not drive it? Not even remove the factory protection film?

The seller has no answers for those questions, but he does have one heck of an amazing ride. It’s 100% stock, save for a lift kit and aftermarket wheels and tires. Which, we presume, were added recently to give the truck a little more visual appeal for the sale. Regardless, it’s easy enough to reverse if the new owner so desires.

Thanks to Ziebart coating and climate controlled storage, the paint on this Ford F-350 looks even better than new. That, along with the absolutely perfect interior, is quite the time warp to behold. Regardless, we’d be too tempted to drive this thing if we bought it. After all, the legendary 7.3-liter Powerstroke was built to do just that. And this is probably your best shot at buying a “new” one!
