The 2015 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Weighs Less Than a Porsche Panamera Turbo and Nine Other Chubby Cars

The lightweight, aluminum 2015 Ford F-150 weighs 700 pounds less than last year’s steel body 2014 F-150 model according to Ford.

Motor Trend has reported that the curb weight of a base model 2015 Ford F-150 SuperCrew V6 weighs in at a mere 4,475 pounds!

After running out of full size pickups to compare the F-150 with, the magazine turned to cars. It turns out that the new Ford truck weighs less than a Porsche Panamera Turbo (4510 pounds), Tesla Model S (4633 pounds), and even a Rolls-Royce Ghost (5500 pounds).
