Ford Will Rock SEMA 2016 With These Awesome Trucks!
If there is one place where you always bring the biggest and the baddest your company can create, it’s SEMA – the country’s largest consumer automotive trade show.
Last year it took me around 20 to 30 minutes to make my way through the massive Ford booth at SEMA. Vehicles like the Ford Performance Chip Ganassi Racing Ford GT were there, the “normal” Ford GT, the Raptor, and even special editions of the Edge, F-150 and Ford Mustang. Heck, I even met Edsel Ford there. Needless to say, they go all out.
Ford just unveiled photos to four different trucks they’re taking to SEMA this year, and while they all have a different attitude and purpose, they definitely all look pretty sweet. One of the trucks is an off-road oriented F-150 SuperCrew from the guys at Bojix Design, a second one is a funky BMX-themed F-150 Lariat SuperCrew, a third a lifted and outfitted F-150 SuperCab with a custom gold paint job by A.R.E. Accessories, and lastly, the EraThr3 F-150 SuperCrew by Hulst Customs.
The Hulst Customs truck features a 5.0-liter V8 motor with a Whipple supercharger, CGS performance exhaust, and custom exhaust tips. All of those mods add up to a ridiculous 750 horsepower and makes the engine sound like a very, very angry monster.
It’s hard to choose which one is my favorite. While I’m not a big fan of lowered trucks, I must admit this low-rider concept looks the business. Perhaps the Bojix off-road design is the one that really grabs my attention. Shocker, right?
