Aluminum-bodied F-150 Crashes Into House. Truck Wins
Silly Chevy owners love to talk smack about the aluminum-bodied Ford F-150, but when was the last time you saw a Silverado crash into a house, and the truck look unfazed? Probably never.
According to theĀ Orlando Sentinel, a 28-year-old male from Florida and owner of a late-model Ford F-150, left a nearby strip joint at around 2:15 am, and it didn’t take him long to set off a chain of douchebag-like events. By that, I mean that he managed to roll out of his truck while driving, run himself over, and then watch as his truck sped down the road and smashed into a house.
Sadly, his irresponsibility behind the wheel has left a 58-year-old woman injured, and with a partially-destroyed home. Unfortunately, the poor woman’s front porch and part of her bedroom have been badly damaged, and will most likely cost tens of thousands of dollars to fix. On the other hand, the front-end of the F-150 is a bit… dusty.
Various manufacturers, but specifically Chevrolet have viciously targeted Ford for their decision to use aluminum for their best-selling trucks 39 years in a row, but if you ask me, the truck came out ahead on this unfortunate encounter.
For the sake of the homeowner, her family, and every “normal” person in the Sunshine State, I sure hope they catch the asshole that did this.
