Ford truck once again holds up amazingly well following crazy accident.

By now, we’re pretty convinced that the F-150 is truly “Built Ford Tough.” We’ve seen a series of crazy accidents lately involving Ford’s seemingly indestructible truck. And the outcome of each has been the same. The F-150 holds up surprisingly well, no matter how insane the wreck is. But this latest crash, which happened recently in Jacksonville, Florida, might be the craziest yet.

News4Jax was on the scene of the incident, where an F-150 became detached from a tow truck and careened into a school bus and an SUV. The driver of the tow truck was following the bus too closely and was forced to slam on the brakes to avoid hitting it as it stopped in traffic. That hard stop caused the F-150 to slam into the bus and SUV.

Thankfully, no children were on the school bus at the time of the accident. The driver of the bus suffered minor injuries, and no one else was hurt. Except for the bus, of course, which suffered some pretty significant damage on its back corner. Amazingly, the F-150 embedded in its backside looks to be in pretty darn good shape, however.

We’d imagine by the looks of things that the truck will be fine with a new bumper and a little bodywork. Which is pretty incredible when you look at the damage inflicted on the bus. But then again, maybe we should be so surprised at the outcome. After all, it’s just the latest in a series of crashes we’ve seen the F-150 handle like a champ.
