F-150 Oddities: A Ford Truck-Riding Horse?

We’ve heard about cats and dogs loving to go on car rides around the block. But a horse? It surely can’t be safe or legal?
Like most things that mean a great deal to us — we get easily attached to them. Whether it’s our Ford trucks, our pets, or certain physical objects, life is better when they’re with us. Perhaps that’s what’s going on in this rather oddball story.
This video, courtesy of Mathakiya Sabir, shows us a sight no one at F-150 Online had ever witnessed: a grown horse riding in the back of a freaking F-150. No, not in a trailer, not in a small barn, and certainly not in the backseat (although for all we know there could be a pony in there), but in the bed of the truck!
If the footage makes you do a double-take at first, you’re not alone. Initially, the video shows the rear of the truck, which is lined with wooden pallets as to create some sort of “barrier” for the horse. As the chase vehicle gets closer to the F-150, we can appreciate the horse from up close and see just how big and legit it is.
Considering an adult horse can easily weigh 1,200-pounds and have a very high center of gravity, we simply can’t imagine this method of transportation is remotely acceptable. Something as simple as an emergency lane-change maneuver could send the horse flying off the bed. Granted, we’re not horse experts, but we don’t think it really takes one to figure that out.
What do you think?
