Five EV Trucks That Will Try to Compete with the All-Electric Ford F-150
GMC Hummer EV
The GMC Hummer EV pickup is a bit of a wildcard, since GM hasn’t really released many details about it other than a couple of teaser pics. The preliminary stats are very impressive, however. GM claims that the reborn Hummer will pack 1,000 horsepower, up to 11,500 pound-feet of torque, and a 0-60 time of 3.0-seconds. Other than that, all we know is that the Hummer is expected to go on sale in late 2021 as a 2022 model.
It’ll be interesting to see how this electric truck battle royale plays out when all the contenders hit the market over the next two years or so. But until someone manages to actually unseat it, we’ll give the Ford F-150 EV the edge for now.
