Ford Hosting Super Duty Tailgate Party in Dallas, Sept. 26
Grab your Super Duty and your pumpkin-flavored items and head on down to Texas for this ultimate Ford tailgate.
Football season has finally returned, the air is getting cooler, and everyone’s eating and drinking something pumpkin-flavored. Which means, of course, that it’s once again tailgate season. As we’re all in the midst of dropping the tailgates on our own Ford trucks and enjoying grilled meats and frosty beverages, the Blue Oval has reason to celebrate as well. We’re talking about the introduction of the revised 2020 Super Duty, of course. And what better way to kick off that debut than with a tailgate party?
Thus, Ford is teaming up with Super Duty fan club Alumi-Duty to throw an unforgettable party for Super Duty owners in Dallas on September 26. The whole thing goes down at Fair Park, home of the State Fair of Texas, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The only catch? There are a couple of rules. For starters, you must drive your Super Duty to the event, which means you must own one. Or just borrow your buddy’s. Or steal one (just kidding…really). Secondly, since this event is invitation only, you have to register by emailing registration@SDTailgateTexas.com. Only a certain number of trucks can attend, so you might want to hurry.
For those lucky enough to get invited, the rewards are significant. For starters, you’ll get to scope out the 2020 Super Duty up close and even talk to the Ford engineers that designed it. You’ll also get to rub shoulders with a variety of celebrities, including including Cristy Lee of Motor Trend’s All Girls Garage, former Texas Longhorns and Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley, and Aaron Kaufman of Fast ‘N Loud and Arclight Fabrication fame.
Ford also promises plenty of fun games and activities for attendees. They’re providing a food truck lunch on the house, as well as some unspecified gifts to mark the occasion. Honestly, we can’t see why anyone wouldn’t want to go. So grab your best tailgate gear and head over here for all the important deets!
