Ford Trucks Thread Features Hundreds of Awesome 12th Gens

If you’re a fan of the 2009-2014 Ford F-150, we found a real honey pot loaded with awesome trucks.

The 12th gen Ford F-150, produced from 2009-2014, is still one of the most common sights on the road today. These immensely popular pickups won our hearts with clean, aggressive styling and inherent toughness. Which also means that, unsurprisingly, a whole lot of enthusiasts own and modify these pickups, too. So, when the good folks at our brother site Ford Truck Enthusiasts created a thread specifically for people to show off their 12th gens, we thought it was worth sharing here as well.

Whether you like your Ford trucks stock, lifted, lowered, or equipped for working hard, there’s a little bit of everything for everyone here. This thread is a fantastic place to find ideas for your own 12th gen, for starters. But it’s also a great way to kills a few hours just checking out some of the coolest pickups around. So far, the thread spans 70+ pages and features hundreds of 12th gens.

That fine selection includes plenty of stock trucks. But to us, a stock 12th gen is just fine, because these trucks are awesome as is. Just take a gander at MI150‘s 2010 F-150, which looks fantastic with its two-tone paint and factory chrome. Despite being nearly a decade old, this pickup looks just as good as anything you’ll see on the road today.

If you’re lucky like cfack, you don’t just own one Ford truck. You own a pretty sweet and sinister looking 12th gen, along with a classic Dentside! Talk about the best of both worlds. And seeing these two trucks parked next to each other gives us a very cool look at the way the F-Series has evolved over the last few decades, too.

And speaking of owning not one, but two cool trucks, how about this duo from Smirks90? After all, if you’re going to tow your classic Bumpside Ford around, is there really a better vessel to do the job than a 12th gen? And while you’re at it, why not throw another truck cab in the bed? This picture truly looks like something out of an old school Ford commercial!
