One-of-a-kind truck features all 2,996 names of those who perished and recently raised $55,000 for America’s 9/11 Foundation.

Automobiles have long been used as rolling tributes to those who have lost their lives. These two things share an obvious connection in bringing awareness wherever they go. So, it goes without saying that this incredibly cool Harley-Davidson F-150, built to memorialize the victims of 9/11, provides a fitting, unforgettable tribute.

The truck, a 105th Anniversary-issue Ford-Harley Davidson F150, has some of the most amazing and comprehensive paintwork we’ve ever seen. A red, white and blue flag motif runs the length of the hood and both sides of the vehicle, each one clutched by a giant eagle that represents the heroes of Flight 93. Out back, the entire tailgate depicts the Pentagon following the attack. A hard tonneau cover on the bed depicts the World Trade Center scene and the names of all 2,996 victims.

The tribute Ford F-150 recently rolled across the block at Barrett-Jackson’s Palm Beach auction, where it hammered for $55,000. All of the proceeds went to America’s 9/11 Foundation, a Virginia-based non-profit that provides support for First Responders and their families. And we can’t think of a better way to serve our nation’s heroes, past and present.
