ICON 1965 Ford ‘Reformer’ Crew Cab Is Your New Dream Truck

Even the mastermind behind this incredible Icon 1965 Ford truck can’t stop gushing about it.

Everyone’s idea of a dream truck is bound to be a little different. One man’s treasure might be another’s junk, after all. But we think everyone can agree that the latest creation from Jonathan Ward belongs in anyone’s dream truck garage. Because this incredible ICON 1965 Ford build checks seemingly every box and more.

If for some reason you aren’t familiar with ICON, we’d suggest that you take some time and peruse their many past projects. The company forged a name for themselves by building incredible and thoroughly modern versions of iconic off road vehicles like the Bronco. But today, Ward has extended his magic touch to a wide variety of trucks like this fairly rare ’65 crew cab.

Even though the details on every ICON build are incredibly complex and well thought out, the basic premise is quite simple. Take a timeless classic and rebuild it with modern mechanicals, top notch materials, and subtle but meaningful changes. Basically what you would imagine a brand new version of a classic truck to be.

And that’s exactly what the ICON 1965 Ford is – a no compromise, no holds barred dream build. The new owner gave Ward and company full artistic freedom on the project, and the result is a truck that Ward admittedly doesn’t want to give away. We certainly can’t blame him, either.

The truck represents one of the most tasteful and refined classic Ford’s we’ve ever laid eyes on. From the incredibly subtle two tone paint to the one off trim and highly detailed interior. You could look at it for days and still find new details you didn’t notice before. Or, you could simply watch Ward’s test drive video and let him explain it to you with great passion.
