MY RIDE! A 2004 Ford F-150 FX4

When one hear’s the phrase “Build Ford Tough,” it is easy to simply roll your eyes or shrug your shoulders and decide the slogan is just that — a slogan. It’s a phrase meant to draw attention to Ford trucks, and to stamp on the their commercials and products to make the owners, or future owners, of their rides feel good. While many companies are guilty of this very things, we’re willing to say that Ford is different. They live up to their standard, and every rig they make is a tribute to that fact. Any owner of a Ford truck can also attest to this truth.

FTE member Matt, also known by his username MTM Ford, can certainly agree to this sentiment. The proud owner of a 2004 Ford F-150 FX4, he knows that “Build Ford Tough” is a true and alive statement. Today we’ll be stepping inside his garage and taking a closer look at the rig that lies within!

This 2004 F-150 had gone through a lot under Matt’s care, and it has all been for the better. As it sits now, it has a two inch level, Harley-Davidson headlights, Harley-Davidson style taillights, a Saleen grille, and a Gryphon programmer with custom tunes. Overall, this machine looks amazing, and we’re sure it rides even better. After all, Ford trucks are amazing — one year old or twelve years old, they’re strong and reliable trucks!
