OPTIMA Presents MY RIDE! A 2001 Ford F-150
When you’re a mechanic with a truck, there’s a lot that can happen. Having that technical and mechanical insight into exactly how all the systems within the vehicle work definitely help when wrenching on a rig, and make for much easier going than it would be for one who had little to no knowledge of any of it and were learning along the way.
That’s not to say that it’s wrong to learn while you work, just that it’s always nice to be confident in what you’re doing, and we’re sure that F150Online member dranger962000 is just that.
A mechanic, a Coloradoan, and a Ford F-150 owner, we’ll be stepping into dranger962000s garage today and taking a closer look at his ride that lies within!
It doesn’t take much to make a rig your own, as we’re sure that all F-150 owners would agree. Albeit, for some people that means adding stains to the interior and dings to the exterior as “personal touches” that form over time. Still, for the rest of us the personalization and additions to the ride are often intended and quite deliberate. This is true for dranger962000, who is the owner of a 2001 Ford F-150.
As the rig sits now, it has a RCD lift, custom homemade bumpers, black emblems, aftermarket lights and wheels, and the absolutely no chrome!
Dranger962000’s ride looks quite good, if we do say so ourselves. Go stop by his garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a great time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week on MY RIDE!
