We’re Finally Off-Roading in the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor!
If you already watched the very first video review of the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor great! If not, you should do so now. The first episode focused on street driving, handling characteristics, and overall drivability of the all-new truck.
As you may already know, the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor isn’t just a truck—it’s the most anticipated truck of the last few years. Press from all around the world have made their way to San Diego, California, to partake in a two day testing program. This program is designed to highlight the capabilities of the all-new truck.
The guys at The Fast Lane Truck brought us the first on-road video review, so it’s only fair we follow up and show you the second one. Enjoy as your host, Roman Mica, explains the new truck’s key improvements that allow it to rock crawl and Baja run like a champ, as well go in-depth about the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires.
As you already know, the 3.5 liter EcoBoost 6-cylinder turbocharged engine produces 450 horsepower, and 510 lb-ft of torque, making this Raptor the most powerful off-road pickup truck ever designed by the blue oval. With a total of six programmable driving modes, the Raptor’s steering, transmission, engine, suspension, and differential behavior can switch in a jiffy. Modes range from Sport, to Rock Crawling, and of course, Baja mode and more.
This video marks the second and final day of the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor media testing program. Unfortunately, Ford didn’t fly us out to the desert to get a first-hand feel for their new baby, so we thank The Fast Lane Truck for the high-quality content we’re sharing with you.
With Raptors literally arriving to dealers at this very moment, tell us, are you getting one?
