This Old Ad: A 1993 Ford F-150 Lightning

Who wants a 240 horsepower Mustang with a cargo bed? Rather, who wouldn’t want one? This red Lightning looks really sweet and is the perfect hauler for a brand new motorcycle, a jet ski or even a four-wheeler. (Not sure if three-wheelers were still available back then.)

Only 5,276 first generation Lightnings were built for 1993 and out of those 2,691 were black and 2,585 were red. White was a lower selling paint option for 1994 and 1995. How many were customized and how many survived? Not enough, that’s for sure.
