OPTIMA Presents MY RIDE! A 2007 Ford F-150 FX4
When you’re in the United States Marine Corps, it is important that has a truck that represents you well. We won’t go into an advertisement about how Ford fills this role wonderfully since we’re sure that would be a waste of precious time, and we will even acknowledge that the rig that fills this role may be different for everyone.
We’ll even try not to judge those who would prefer a Datsun pickup over a solid F-150. We’ll try — we can’t promise that we’ll succeed. But when one serves their country that certainly deserve to drive anything they please!
Though we have to say that we are quite happy with FTE member Nick’s (A.K.A. “Big B’s FX4”) choice, and today we’ll step into his garage and take a closer look at the truck that lies within!
The ride is a 2007 Ford F-150 FX4, and it is far from stock. As it sits now, the rig has a 2.5″ ProComp leveling kit, 17″ ProComp wheels, the Gotts Mod, a Rhino bed liner, a folding tonneau cover, window vent shades, a bug guard, custom made F-150 badges, 35% window tint on the front windows, custom rock sliders, a custom toolbox, a custom under-seat storage box, and more! This ride has certainly been modified to perfection, and we’d expect no less!
It’s nice to see a member of the Marines driving such a wonderful rig, and we only hope that it does well for him. And nothing could be more prepared than a Ford, of course! Go stop by his garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a good time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week on MY RIDE!
