The Platinum is Still the Rockefeller of the F-150 Line

The exterior treatments and upgrades for the 2015 F-150 Platinum are sweet. If you haven’t seen them yet, you should head on over here and do so. This article is only going to talk about the standard features that come with the 2015 Ford F-150 Platinum.

Interior Luxury Is Stepped Up

The King Ranch is already pretty-well filled with luxury appointments, but the Platinum takes it up a notch. The floor mats lose the King Ranch logo, but are now a high-grade premium quality product. There’s also an aluminum appliqué on the center panel and console as well as real wood inserts. The door scuff plates have unique bright inserts. The dash cluster face also has its own unique styling. The keyless-entry system is enhanced on the Platinum with a SecuriCode Keyless Entry keypad on the driver’s door. A soft ambient lighting system is also standard on the Platinum.

The 2015 Platinum Keeps You Safer

The Platinum Luxury Package also contains a number of safety improvements. The first of these safety upgrades is the Adaptive Cruise with Collision Warning and Brake Support, to help you stay out of accidents. Safety is further enhanced by the Lane-Keeping System that alerts you when you start to inadvertently change lanes, and the cool 360 degree camera. The camera system is equipped with another safety feature-Dynamic Hitch Assist- that makes hooking up trailers much safer. For an added bit of safety at night, both sideview mirrors are equipped with LED spot lights.
