Police Saves Jack in the Box From Fire with Ford Truck
It’s Unclear If Jack’s .99 Cent Tacos Ignited Ford Truck
If you live in the great State of Texas you most likely do two things: drive a Ford truck, and eat Jack in the Box tacos. We mean, Ford trucks are the best trucks on the road, and .99-cent tacos absolutely, positively rock.
Unfortunately, for the person behind the wheel of this ’80s Ford truck, the universe conspired against his wishes and kept him from fulfilling his appetite. Oh, and destroyed what looked like a solid truck, too.
This video courtesy of Glenn Heights PD shows us once again that police offers are willing to risk their lives and safety for the sake of others. As the title leads you to believe, a Jack in the Box restaurant in Glenn Heights, Texas, was at risk of catching on fire when the Ford truck in its drive-thru lane ignited.
Not much information regarding the reason for the fire is available, but it was a big one. By the time the officer arrive, the front-end of the truck was engulfed in flames. The quick-acting officer decided to push the Ford away from the restaurant in order to keep the structure from catching on fire. Luckily, his skills and massive brush guard kept the situation from escalating out of control.
Perhaps this is the only time we’re glad that a Chevy came out on top!
