Doomsday planning is all the rage these days with scores of people stocking canned goods in their fortified bunkers. For those who think beyond the walls of their underground lairs, beefed up vehicles that can handle the terrain of cities reduced to rubble are a necessity as well.

If you can envision having to make supply runs in a Mad Max-esque world, it’s easy to see the appeal of a vehicle like this 2016 F-150. Built to be tough both on the street and while traversing a post apocalyptic world, there isn’t much that can slow this rig down.

It all starts on the outside where an Alpine White Kevlar coating prevents your investment from getting all scratched up by the living dead. A Fab Fours Vengeance front bumper is capable of pushing things (like zombies) out of your way, and a host of Rigid lighting illuminates any dark alleys you might have to traverse.

The FX4 sits high thanks to a 6-inch Pro Comp lift and Fox Factory shocks with reservoirs sit fore and aft. 22″ Fuel Rampage wheels are wrapped in aggressive Nitto Trail Grappler 37×13.5R/22 tires. Power is aided by a catback exhaust and Diablo Sport tuner.

Just because you are living in the worst environment imaginable doesn’t mean you have to ride around in discomfort, either.  The interior of your post apocalyptic ride is awash in custom leather with heated seats and a dual moonroof, with sounds courtesy of a Kicker audio system.

So if you’re one of those doomsday prepper types who feels like we are all doomed, this may just be your ride.  Even if you aren’t, it’s hard to imagine rolling around in anything much cooler than this.
