Normally, the F-150 doesn’t come to mind when considering the best car for a drag strip. Out of Ford’s stable, the Mustang is probably best suited for that activity. And yet, there are plenty of trucks that have seen the quarter mile. More often than not, their time slips are on par with a Focus, but occasionally, there’s a shocker. This truck is one of those shocking ones.

I would hesitate in calling it a sleeper though. Yeah, it’s an old F-150, but the hood and the rear tires scream fast. With older cars and trucks, it’s harder to tell if their bite can match their bark from just a glance. A sidelong glance at this truck on the street, and you might not realize that it’ll leave most people slack-jawed at a green light. I mean, honestly. How many F-150s trap 123mph?

Anyway you cut it, 10 second timeslips are crazy fast. Especially in a truck. Check it out below.
