There are many reasons for someone to own a truck. Whether they just love them (and who wouldn’t?) or if they need them for whatever job they perform, trucks are wonderful.

Race car drivers haul their speed machines using trucks, construction crew rely on them, and, apparently, they’re good for professional musicians as well. 2008_XL falls into the category of professional musician, and so he clearly needed a truck. And what would be better that an F-150 to get the job done?

Today we’ll step into 2008_XL’s garage and take a look at his white 2008 Ford F-150!

2008_XL plays the drums, so it really shouldn’t be surprising that he needed a tough and reliable rig to haul them around in as he tours the world.

His F-150 definitely handles it well, and the musician has definitely done a good job with his truck. The Ford currently has 93k miles (and counting!) and has been modified in several ways to make it even better.

After all, if you have a truck then why not spoil it a little?

At the moment, this 4.2L 5-speed has 4X4 coilovers, 3″ rear blocks, a Truxedo Lo Pro Tonneau Cover, and tow mirrors. It’s no secret that Ford makes some amazing trucks, and clearly 2008_XL is enjoying his.

There are certainly more things that he could do to improve the performance of the rig, but what he has done so far is certainly plenty for his needs. After all, haulin’ drums isn’t too worrisome of a task!

Even so, the rig has been given it’s fair share of attention, and we’re glad for it.
