TRUCK YOU! A Red 2008 F-150 STX Modified Rig from Texas
To some people, driving is just a fact of life. They sit back, crank up their radio, and endure their morning commute. They dread the fact that there will also be an afternoon commute.
However, there are other people that drive to live. They enjoy being behind the wheel and the enjoy the vehicle they drive. Clearly, LonestarROB is the latter kind of person, and today we’ll take a peek inside his garage to see the F-150 that gets him around.
This rig started its life as your basic 2008 Ford F-150 STX. Though still cool, it wasn’t good enough for LonestarROB. He has done a lot to make this truck both look better and go faster.
In the way of appearances, he has added custom seat covers, a smoked LED third brake light, custom decals, OE style fender flares, KC HiLite offroad lights, window tint, and much, much more.
But don’t let the sheer amount of visual upgrades worry you — he didn’t forget about performance. The Ford now has Magnaflow cat-back rear duel exhaust, an S&B cold air intake, and an Edge/Gryphon tune. In the future he hopes to also high-flow catalytic converters and Bilstein 5100 shocks.
It is obvious that LonestarROB has had just a bit too much fun with this rig, and we can’t blame him. Even the most basic of Ford trucks are wonderful candidates for modifications, and it is always great to see one cruising down the road.
Go check out LonestarROB’s garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a good time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week!
