TRUCK YOU! A 2005 Ford F-150 FTX in the Garage

Though some people are strongly against the idea of performance trucks, one has to admit that they can be pretty perfect. They often can even hold their own in a world of cars.

They show up at drag strips, street races, and sometimes even the track. Though not the common ride that comes to mind when someone thinks of a race vehicle, performance trucks have done quite well despite the scrutiny.

F150Online member Shanks12 has done a lot to his ride to get it to have more horsepower and better looks, and today we’ll step inside his garage and take a peek at the beast that lies within!

As it sits now, the rig has a Roush non-I/C supercharger, a Roush cold air intake, 2.5” TrueFuals, DynoMax Bullets, a PowerStop brake kit, a Rancho hood and hard tonneau, an Aries bull bar, 5% tint, a bed extender, Recon Xtreme light bar, and more!

This thing is bound to be loud, mean, and fast. And by the looks of it, we wouldn’t doubt that truth! After all, most Corolla driver’s would be scared to see this FTX in their rear view mirror!

Regardless of your view of performance trucks, it would be tough to deny just how great Shanks12’s ride truly is!
