Here we go...

New to the forums here.

I bought this '99 5.4L V8 4x4 used with approx 247,000 KMs on it, and I love it. I don't know of any mods to it other than the obvious body mods.

My favourite part is the chrome side panels

Here is my 99 XLT 5.4 with mods including tunes, magnaflows outback (resently installed), underpulleys, electric fans and a real working scoop. Maybe a couple more but cant seem to remember what they are now. Its got 236,000 miles and has seen 27 states along with Mexico and Canada Land. This has been the all around best ride I have ever owned and will most likely never let it go unless it gets totaled.

And I would like to thank Stealth for finding my pics on here to post up now.

Sled- looks great for 236k! how do you like the UD pulleys and the e-fans? I'd like to do both to my truck, but can't decide which to do first. Did you really notice a difference? Which did you notice more?

Thanks, it probably looks better in the pick then it does in person. It has its share of chips and stuff, but yeah, for the miles it isnt to bad. Paint is starting to peel, or haze, or something on the back edge of the roof. Not sure what is going on there.

As for the UDs and fans I did them both at the same time so can't say which made the most diff.

It wasn't any huge gain, mostly in mileage I would say. I can still squeeze out 20 to 21 mpg if I drive right, which I seldom do.

I have had some troubles with the fans and the relays and controller, but for the most part they have worked well. I installed that stuff back at 70k miles with no real problems other than mentioned.

i actually thought it was going to be "musical" at all for it being fi's spl series woofer, and it proved me wrong!
just as musical as my ssd was, i really cant compare it to any other subs.
like i said in other posts, i get my sundown saz3000d sometime next week if all goes as planned and then i'll actually be feeding it suggested rms and then some, then i'll be able to actually see what this sub can do!

looks a lot better, now I'd work on doing something to the box you have in the back to make it look more 'stock'. Take out the seats, carpet the box and bolt it down, etc. Looks great so far, just clean it up a little.
