If I were you, I wouldn't go any bigger than 20's. I have yet to see a 97 - 03 truck that looked good on anything bigger than 20's unless it was slammed with a ton of money put in to it, but hey, to each his own.

Thanks for the compliment my good man, but I'm going to have to agree with cashel on this one. I'm trying to picture a leveled out F-150 with 24s, and the image in my head? Eh...I don't think I'm feeling it.

I think no more than 20s on any truck.

That is one SWEET truck Dewser. What did you do to get the bumper black using the stock rec fogs? I like it and would love to do that to mine.

Right on....and I used 35% el cheapo window tint on the fogs. Worked very well, and turned out looking better than I thought it would.

Thanks for the props stich!

First, I got the tint that has an adhesive side to it. The static cling stuff is quite a bit thicker (not as easy to work with), and it's kinda purple looking. So I made myself a template out of cardstock paper. Then, I laid the template on a sheet of tint and cut out the tint along the edge of the template. I cleaned the fogs VERY well with Windex, and once the fogs were clean, I sprayed some Windew on them and left them wet. Then, I peeled off the backing of the tint I had just cut, sprayed the adhesive side of the tint with Windex, placed the tint on the fogs, moved it to where I wanted it, and just squeegeed the heck out of it...making sure all the air bubbles were gone.

Worked like a champ!

Oh, and thanks coobie!

I think it will. It'll probably take some patience because the tails have more of a contour to them than the fogs. I think it can be done though.

Let me know how it comes out, will ya?

they make a special vinyl tint for tails and stuff

i used it on my tails, 3rd brake light and fogs and was very impressed

but regular window tint should work too, i also used a blow dryer when i did mine to make it a bit easier to work with

also dewser, removing the door moldings and ptm the bed caps and tailgate handle if they aren't already. would make it that much closer to being completely blacked out. just my .02
but even without that, your truck is very nice and i actually wouldn't mind painting my truck black just to do it too, i think it looks remarkable.

That's next on the list. First halfway warm day we have, I'm doing the bed rail caps, tailgate cap and handle.

Thanks my friend!
