LMFAO! Yea.....500 hp ...ummm not likely. if i break torque my almost stock 4.6 with 12" wide tires it look about the same. It did look torqey outta the hole but Im thinkin 500 rwhp is not likely. But it was a sweet A§§ truck. But no never seen it. I bet str8 would look the exact same if he beat the ever living shi% out of his truck like that guy did! Man id be crying when i had to buy new tires after that! Lmfao

some of these guys are close. turn up the boost to the limit and im pretty sure he can get close. how exactly did he beat the shi+ out of it? i heard it wasnt a pavement pounder, but i idk if i'd say he beat it. i mean, i abuse my truck, but i like to test its limits. im finally going to tone back a bit, got a coolant leak, going to clean up the engine, regear, and 37's. its a process, should be done come tax season.

didnt he also say it wasnt what he was expecting and it hadnt been broken in yet? i mean, why post a 500hp video and lie? i'd be happy with 350HP, but there were guys pushing 450+HP on there. more tweaking, more tuning...

Idk. Guess maybe Im just getting old or nothing but break torqing your truck like that to me is beating it pretty good. But thats imo. its cool to watch but even if my ride was built like that i guess id be to much of a Nancy to do it to mine. To each there own it is there own ride and its amusing for me to watch!

after reading the thread, the guy is reffering to HP at the crank, which is ALOT different than HP at the wheels.

With the large tires it can break things really fast. I have a buddy who did that and it only took one time to break the 4r70w tranny. I have done it a few times and thankfully nothing has broken. Tires are way to expensive to do that more than once or twice just to get it out of your system. I am over 40 and still love a good burnout hell who doesn't?

Also if he has a stock lightning motor pumped up to the max it certainly will not last long, especially if he makes a habit out of those burnouts.
