I'm hoping I get a call from the insurance company in the morning and I'm going to also call the body shop to see when they have time to inspect my vehicle.

Taking my truck to the body shop today. I'm going to ask if I can also get my hood painted there as well. What type of style should I go with?

All red hood, or red with black middle.

Wife was also thinking about doing a mesh grille, so I photoshopped the hood for you guys to check out.

All red with mesh grille

Black middle with mesh grille

Also, since there isn't a spot for my windshield sprayers to be mounted, and the Cervini's site said they aren't mounted on the hood, where would they go?

Theres a kit that you can get that relocates your sprayers right in front of the windshield wipers. You would have to ask about it.

agreed with five0merc. if ur gonna paint the center black, do the whole hump not just the vents. i think gettin mesh in there is gonna be super tricky if those arent functional vents..unless you do a vinyl that looks like mesh.

How's this?

I think I might just got with all red and have no clue how I'd go with the mesh grille inside. To make it easy, and the shop I just took my truck to said it'll cost $315 to paint my new hood.

Also, the Cervini's website says "Windshield washer squirters are relocated and hidden under the hood". I just don't know where there going to be relocated.

DO IT LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!
looks sick!
i think ill look much better in person when its painted gloss black!

and please please please make sure the body shop doesnt drill holes for the washer nozzles! i hate those things lol. Theyre easy to relocate to the wiper arms, or under the hood like cervinis says.

I'll have black wheel's, don't worry. Also black emblems, I don't know how much more black I can add to the truck.

Yeah, what if the shop can't put mesh grille in the back like I want? I think I'll just keep it like that with no mesh grille. It was just an idea that I have no clue on how to do.

Here is what the hood would look like top view with the black extending out longer

hmm, theres no holes in the hood right?

the body shop could probably cut the vents out and put the vents in there. just depends if they wanna do it or not.

I'll ask when I take the truck in next week. Also, he asked me if the hood fits my truck, and I told him it is made for it, he said he had a BMW that came in 2 weeks ago, owner said it was made for the car and the hood didn't fit.

He was prolly jus throwing that out there. Although sometimes I've seen the fiberglass ones fit like ****. And with more black on the truck and some tint I say go for the painted hood
