That's a small sidewall IMO. Maybe a 40 series? Your side wall will be 99.75 mm (35 series) vs. 114 mm (40 series). A decent size pothole at a good speed will do a number on it if hit just right. Again, this is just my $.02.

285/35r22 = 29.85in tall

285/40r22 = 30.98in tall

285/45r22 = 32.1in tall 5.05in sidewall
^probably too big

I'll go with the 285/40/22 then. Also, where does everyone buy their tires at? Onlinetires can get me tires and shipped for $550ish.

You have these Raptor?

http://www.onlinetires.com/products/...tr+++109t.html

Also, I found some 22x8 and 22x7.5, does that matter much?

Yup. They are A+ all-season highway tires. really quiet, with EXCELLENT dry and wet traction. ride is comfortable and since my truck is white i run with the white-letters on the outside

Nice. I found some rims for around $900, but they are 22x7.5, how would that look on my truck?

Do they stick out much? I don't want mine to look thin on my truck.

mine dont stick out at all, they have a close to stock offset so that theyll tuck into the fenders...

but they dont look thin. they look wider and a lot better than stock
