Will think about it. So, the 4 shocks I have go on the rear only? 2 on each side, right?

I'm with you on this. I consider myself pretty knowledgeable with the OBS trucks, but when it comes to suspension, I'm dumber than a Toyota owner

Well, I have no knowledge on vehicles what so ever. I'm leaving to go get the grille painted.

Also, if I placed the valance grille over the 2 bars, it would stick out, so I seen another STX on eBay that had their grille on the inside, and so I tested to see what it would look like on mine.



I think it doesn't look bad. Should I still get it painted black?

I took my 03 emblems off and painted my 04-08 emblems. Question is, what is the best way to get the adhesive tape off? It's being a pain to get off. Should I use WD40 (a howto said to), GooGone didn't work, nail polish remover?

You could try wd40 - it won't hurt anything, but the GooGone should work. It'll take some scrubbing whatever you use.

Awesome, good thing I bought rubbing alcohol for the new emblems. It's okay if I use 91%, right?

Also, I took the new grille in to get powder coated, it's going to be $150! But, I should have it in a week or so.

yes any percentage is fine. just be sure to take some automotive-grade soap and rise off the area before applying new emblems

nice, so i take it you've decided to do it yourself. imo, $150 on the grille is a waste of $ but its your truck/$.

at first i was like damn ur truck is low, then i realized you took that pic while the front was hanging over a curb/sidewalk cuz its right above the ground

Yeah, the site said $60 for grille's, but, that doesn't include them stripping the powdercoat off the billet grille itself. Oh well, going to be worth it. I took the adhesive residue off, thanks Raptor! Had to repaint parts of the emblems, the chrome was still showing, also got some dust on the emblems painted, oh well. looks good still. Should be on later today.
