I can't explain it, it has a push pin in the center, and once it's pulled up, you can pull the pin out.

You have to pry the whole thing out a little bit then push all but the center back in and then pull that canter pin out and then the rest will come out without a problem. That is how I got mine out. I have the same clips on some of my panels on my extended cab. Hope that helps.

you just put the main piece in then the center if i do remember. Or you can just buy new ones that aren't that way.

If you don't plan on taking the panels off again just buy the push in ones.

its pretty simple. should be all plug & play. you plug one of your headlights into the blue socket which is all the way on the right in picture. i choose my pass side cuz that's where the battery is. the power wire can connect to the battery. any grounds can be screwed into the first screw for the fender (in the hood jamb). light plugs into ballast, ballast gets power, & it all works . if those things in the boxes in the middle are the ballasts damn they're small. but light plugs into those, then they plug into the harness, the harness gets power from the headlight socket & battery. not sure how much that helps.

5000 should look good
