The springs were great. I was not a big fan of the prerunner look after the lift. So I replaced the block and add-a-leaf from the kit with those springs for an even stance. Although I don't think they're on there in the 1st 2 photos.

Tinian! I LOVE the solid axle swapeven though i don't want to go as high as your truck is{just want some 35-37?tires} I really wanna do a solid axle swap! What did you use?I DO NOT want a body/suspension lift. suspension only!

I've got 17.5" total. 14.5 suspension and 3 body.
I used dana 60 kingpin axle and a 10.25 rear. Front end is completly built with superior 35 spline chromo's and nitro 300m joints. 5.13's and 1410 joints on both axles. Disc breaks in the rear as well.
Drool away.
Its expensive though, be fore-warned. Start a list of everything you want, add it up, and add an extra 1-2k to it.

haha thats what im afraid of. hopefully mine wont be as expensive. Obviously i need the kit, the axle, and the tubing for the steering...other than that, i dont know. haha my buddy knows all about that and he is doing the work with my help. I am going to try and get a good deal on an axle so hopefully that wont break the bank. then as for the springs, my buddy has a set of 2" springs im going to throw on there first and get the 6.5" kit for a totaly of 8.5...should be right at where i am at right now. HOPEFULLY it wont be more than 3000. thats what i have figured up to right now. sound logical? or am i way off? haha

I believe your going to need more lift than that to do a crossover steering. I think 10 is about the min.
I was thinking 1-2k total to do the bare min. and 2500-3k to build it good.
All together now I've got around 8k into it.
You gotta think about all the misc. stuff that doesn't come to mind.
Heres a quick list off the top of my head I've got
Dana 60- $575
Sterling 10.25- $200
New bearings/ seals-$100 x2
Front springs- $250
Rear Springs- $300
Hanger kit- $300
Trac bar and Drag link with 7/8 heims, misalignments, tube ends- $200-400
shocks- $200-400
driveshafts- $500-700
1410 yokes front, rear, t-case- $200-400
gears front and rear- $1000-$1500
Disc break conversion with calipers- $450
Front axle shafts w/ joints- $1600
Warn 35 spline hubs- $300
Drop pitman arm- $100
High steer arm- $150
Then you gotta add all the misc. tabs and brackets, nuts and bolts, brake lines, brake fluid, gear oil, etc...
It adds up VERY quick.
Then depending on what tires you want to run, rims, wheel spacers, etc......
Plus I'm sure I forgot some stuff.
Granted, everything I listed isn't a neccesity, but isn't a bad idea. You need any help or any questions feel free to ask.
