gears 5.38's on dana 60's locked front and rear with the itty bitty 4.6... but she still made me proud when i would white smoke em.

so with that being said i cant wait to see what 6.72's will do in the rockwells. i might even swaping a motor out at the same time, if not it will be very soon after i get the next suspensions set up

looks like ill be changing the motor before i get the 54's and custom rims though
How do the D60's do with the current setup?
4six is a good motor as you know...just underpowered imo. mines got a 4six in it too. I'm about to go to 35's, then down the road regearing to 4.88's. But that not even on your level man. YOur tires are like 20"s bigger than 35's. lol
What motor you thinking about swapping in? Are you thinkin diesel? If so, please say cummins!!!

Please no cummins... rebuild that 4.6! you can make some amazing power with them. Or get an old BB ford motor

Keep it Ford. Big Foot made it happen, no need to stray.

I guess...It would be alot less work if he were to build the **** out of a 4six.
Yeah i forgot for a sec...Ford does use cummins and cat engine's in the f650's.

Appreciate it

I upgraded because I changed my tire/wheel size....I went 4.56, probably could have gone 4.88, very happy with the set though.

Well I was told today but the guy that will do my gears when i do them that for regular driving(not towing or hauling large loads) that since i have an manual trans and control my shift points i can get by with my current gears (3.08's) and 35"s. yes i will have power loss but manageable what the unknown is is MPG il get. just gonna have to try it and see what happens

ups are gain some of the power loss from bigger tires and ease the load on the trans from downshifting alot when towing and hills and what not.

downside theyre expensive
