Pat- did u get a console from a NBS?Could it be fabbed? Also what type of buckets would work best for this swap?

The console is out of an 02 Harley (Basically a black version of the 97-02 expedition console) and 97-02 expedition seats would work the best or KR/Harley seats if you can find them

Looking good, I have often thought about installing a B&M floor shifter but that looks much better. What are you going to do about the gear indicator on the dash?

(Having a "duh" moment) Did you switch to a expy seat because you went from a bench to buckets? Or just to be different?

bench to buckets, its going to be converted to a lightning bucket passenger seat that ford never made

trying to make my way out to a specialty paint store for some primer my painter recommends. Slow progress, and im kinda selfishly enjoying having the cupholders again

Thin layer of the Bondo putty


Sanded with 400 grit


First layer of primer, will need to touch up a few spots before i send it off to paint, but it's exciting to see it all the same color finally



Cut down my seat foam, headed to the upholstery shop tomorrow

Folded over the seat cover in place to help visualize what the result will be
