Didnt get a whole lot done today on my truck, was helping Derek out with his efan install. Was able to confirm the electronics on the shifter, as well as rewire it to accept a M-F connector i have.

I need to mount the shifter about 1/2" higher to get it flush with the console decking, but need different hardware to accomplish that.

Flexing

I will need to order the cable bracket from the 04-08 transmissions, and hopefully its available as a separate piece. If not its off to the junk yards again.

Going to be building the harness for the cab tomorrow as i do other wiring and interior projects tomorrow

after doing all this do u think it would be easier to just swap in an entire nbs console with the shifter?

Probably won't meet up to the dash as nice as a harley/expo console would.

Pat, that is going to be sick when you are done.

I'm so confused. What's going on here? Is this a mod to turn a stick into an automatic (dont you need to swap tranny's if so?). If this truck in an automatic, are you just moving the shifter from the column to the floor? If so, why?

I feel like I'm missing out on something super cool that I don't know about lol.

It's a column shift automatic. He is going to bucket seats from an Expedition and adding the console and floorshifter. The reason is, because he wants to.
