ugh thread has takin a turn for the worse!! i HATE stickers and i HATE chevys. You wont see me put a single sticker on my truck. I wouldn't even put the AAA sticker on. And i would never get a chevy!!! YUK

And yes i just might be one of the only kids you know that wont ruin a good truck with stupid trendy stickers!!!

 

I going to show my ignorance here and confess that I don't know what NBS means.
I don't recall if my 1997 xlt reg. cab had them, but I know for a fact that my 2000 xlt reg. cab had decals.

 

The '99 F-150/F-250 brochure lists "4X4 Off Road decal" as part of the 4X4 Off Road Equipment group (except Lariet), and "4X4 decal" as part of the Sport Group. Pics in the brochure show 4X4 XLT's w/ no stickers, a 4X4 Sport w/ "Sport 4X4" sticker, and a Off Road equipment group truck w/ "4X4 Off Road" sticker.

As far as stickers, my 1998 XLT came with the 4x4 Off Road Package stickers on it, and I took them off. Not a big fan of stickers. The only one on my truck is the onle on my back window that says "My Sister Is In The U.S. ARMY." That one was my exception to the rule when she joined.

Bought my truck new in 97, an had the off-road package. My stickers are the 4X4 Off-Road ones. An to all the haters. I LIKE my stickers!

Wow didnt realize most of you didnt like the 4x4 stickers so much..
I like mine, it came with the 4x4 off road sticker in silver but changed it to look like the fx4 sticker and still say 4x4 to add some color

 

That actually looks pretty good on your truck. Your truck being white and red tail lights and the sticker being white and red blends pretty good.

 

ALL 4X4 trucks in our body style had some sort of 4x4 sticker when they left the dealer. There is just some people who took them off for some reason or another...

i have OCD as well. but i am also a redneck, soldier, and proud american . although, my Mustang is another story. NO stickers, other than a small white Army logo on the rear window.

 

No stickers, but I gotta have my flags ...

 

UHHHH sorry, hate to burst your buble, but not true. i know for a fact that when dad had his 97 new from the dealer it never had 4x4 stickers on it. but it did have the big ol ugly floor shifter for the t case. now, thats not to say someone didnt order it without stickers, and then never got the truck, but i do know that my dad was the original owner and it never had them when he drove off the lot.

now, every other f150 we have owned has had the stickers, mine (4x4 off road), dads o2 (fx4), and dad also had an 01 screw (4x4 off road) and a 1999 extended cab (4x4 off road) all of the trucks were xlt's
