it wouldn't run right most likely, the pipes would be way to big for the amount of backpressure comin from your exhaust.

Did you try the search? I have seen a number of threads about stacks on here. Im not about to voice my opinion on you putting them on a gas engine though. Although I wont, I think it would be smart to put on your fireproof suite right about now.

Bad dog. sit. stay.... stay....

im sorry but oh hellll no. stacks on a GAS truck????? and on a F150?????? and 5 inch stacks? you would lose almost all of your torque, not to mention it would sound like S H I T. period.

Im sorry but even thinking about putting stacks on a 150 = you leave me no choice but to revoke your man card.

all ripping aside, i have seen 1 and only 1 with stacks and they were about the normal size of duals, and they stuck up about 3 feet above the cab and were hideous.

now quit smokin whatever you found and go sleep it off.... youll be ok in the morning.

When i complete my diesel swap, i wont even be running a stack. I'm going to a local performance shop and having a complete exhaust made from 4" SS with a NO tip so it will look somewhat factory..

im sorry, but even with a diesel, the f150 body just cant pull the look off. some dual exhaust like what you would see on a newer dmax might look pretty sweet though.

An F-150 with stacks is going to look the very same way. Ugly ! Whether it has a diesel engine in it or not.
Will a Cummins diesel even fit in the engine compartment of a 98 f150 ?
