Brush guards

I guess it depends on what you wanna spend. Like was said above, replacement bumpers are sweet, but not everyone has the money for that. I went with what a lot of people have, a real simple Hunter brush guard that doesn't cost much. When I got sick of having something that everyone had, I made it a little more my style with some lights. It's all your personal opinion, plus what you have the money for.

If I were to go with a brush guard I'd go with Ranchhand. Or any other 1 piece design. Although at just over $500 for the RH you have to want it.
I'm wanting to hang a winch on my truck and keep coming back to the Warn Transformer setup to do so. I have alway liked the look of the simple brushguard without the light guards.
I managed to find a new one for $150 this week. Hopefully my buddy in Dallas came through for me after work and picked it up. Just need to add the winch plate and winch. However I don't have the money for those right now.
If you want a brush guard ask yourself if you want form or function? Do you want to retain tow hooks?

I just looked on RanchHand and they don't seem to have any brushguards for my 1998 F150 4x4. Im looking for form and function as. I do hunt and have to go on trails and knock down little trees, but I also want it too look sweet and stylish, Lights on the guard would have to come later, so for now im just lookin for form and function

I went with the Ranch Hand it I love it. It retails around $500 but I found it for $125 on craigslist. I love front end replacements on all trucks EXCEPT our style. Ranch Hand does make the brush guard for the 4x2(what i have) and the 4x4. The 4x2 loops goes under the front valance and then attaches to the frame, as the 4x4 goes through the valance and attaches to the frame. So make sure you order the correct one.
