I'm starting to paint a bunch of the plastic pieces. They're getting dulled out or look crappy and I'm tired of constantly applying hyperdressing so I figured I'd paint them. Started with the rear window surround and side steps. I gave the 3rd brake light a couple coats of Nightshades while I was at it.

Due to an unfortunate incident at a Ford dealership in June, I had to do a full detail on my motor. They were supposed to unclog my a/c drain but the first time the retard tech put the air hose under the truck he hooked it up to the tranny breather tube and blew tranny fluid all over my truck. I did get the $$$ out of those clowns too for my troubles. So anyway heres the pics of the motor, don't think it came out too bad. I had never done a full detail on a motor. I never wanted to mess with them too much in case something electrical got damaged. But I bagged everything electrical up.

I bought a 2-tone leather steering wheel cover from wheelskinz.com. Takes a lot of patience to install since you have to stitch it on yourself. Eventually I plan on getting 2-toned leather seats in the same color combo so this is the first step.

I'll post some pics of my latest project a little later. I took the tailgate handle off the truck and am painting it to match.

Here's what I've been working on the past few days. I took the tailgate handle off to PTM. Once this is back on the truck I'll do the bed caps in satin black. These pics are after the wetsanding and buffing and before the clearcoat

Now this one if after the clearcoat and the final wetsand, compound, ultimate compound, and polish

Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to get some pics of it on the truck
