I hate to break it to you but your still going to have a high gas bill. My trucks got the 5.4L and it's not even lifted like yours so I assume you'll get worse gas mileage than me. 700-800 miles is still going to cost you $200+ a week. My 4x4 gets about 260-280miles on 20-21 gas (city/hwy mix) which is about $70-$80 bucks. All highway, I can 300-310 miles. 700-800 miles is about 2.5 tanks for my trucks so that's pretty close to $200 bucks. I would have kept the diesel and purchased a small used 4 or 6 cylinder truck for 4-5k.
I like your lift on your 2003 though. The superduty was better in my opinion.
