Ok not really, but i've always wanted to know what it looked like, so i did my best to get a visual, not photoshoped, just done in really ol' paint. looks good IMO. What do you guys think?

I am going to do this eventually. to much cab not enough bed, even if i dont use the bed, it would just look visually better. Extend the frame a foot, get a longer driveshaft, maybe some longer break lines, and pick up a bed from the junkyard. shouldnt be that difficult.

Plus you'd get a full-width tailgate and get rid of those horrible, horrible tail lights. Looks like a lot of pluses to me!

crew cab eight foot would be awesome. Is anything like that made in other platforms like with an F250?

F-250s are very common with crew cab and 8' configurations. And I think F-350s only come that way. Although, I have seen an oddball F-350 with a 6.5' bed; looks kinda neat.

Theres a chevy 2500 four full doors and a 8 foot bed, and that thing is like a boat. Is Truckguy a member on here? i would like to ask him how much it ran him to do that. I think ford crapped the bed when they made it only a 5.5 bed. it's barely practical, im sure the bed extender is nice, but cmon. lol

He doesn't own that one, he just asked for a pic earlier in the thread. I don't know who owns it, Patman had posted a pic of it in a previous thread. I agree, I wish I had the 6.5' bed, moving stuff up to my apartment was a pain but we got away with ratchet straps

Wouldn't you have to graft the old bed onto the new one though
