Duplicolor Shadow on my 02 Harley Edition***pic added**

Hey guys, got bored last weekend and decided to try out Duplicolor's "Shadow" paint system. For those who aren't familiar, it gives the appearance of "Black Chrome" to your chrome parts. It has a translucent black base coat which allows the reflection of your chrome to shine through. It also comes with a clear coat to deepen the gloss. I used it on my grill, running bars, and of course my 20's. I'll get some pics up tomorrow.

It came out ok, if my wheels weren't showing their age i probably wouldn't have gone with this option. I originally wanted to have them re-chromed, but with how much that costs i could have bought re-pops. Eventually, i want to upgrade to the 22" harley replica's, but this satisfies me for now.

I think that stuff looks good. I've actually been toying with the idea of using it on the chromed sections of my bumpers ('00 xlt supercab 4x4).I'm not much of a fan of chrome and this seems like a way to tone it down. Where did you purchase the product, and if you don't mind me asking, for how much. Is there much prep involved when using this?
