Farewell my friends!

I have decided to sell the famed V10 F150. I really don't have a need for a truck bed, so I'm getting an Expedition. It will work better for hauling my daughter and her friends and our dogs. It will probably get a V10 or boost eventually.

Anyway, thanks for all the help and advice over the years, I have really learned a lot, and hopefully some of you have learned from my mistakes.

1. Don't dent your oil pan!
2. Trust your oil pressure gauge!
3. Don't use aluminum lift blocks!
4. Don't remove your inner fender and drive through water!

It's not farewell... It's just moving to the Expedition Forum... Good Luck...

If I were younger, and it wasn't 110 degrees every day, I'd probably put the 5.4 in the F150 and the V10 in the Expy, but for now, here is the new addition. I need to do something about those headlights ASAP.

Looks like the same lights my wife's Expy had. pull them out and wet sand them with some 1500-2000 wet-n-dry, then polish them with one of the Restoration kits, and top it off with a protectant. They will look as good as new.

Looks pretty clean/straight, congrats.

Thanks! The lights are on my to-do list. It has a few annoying little issues. Door lock solenoids for three doors, non-functioning heated seats (I got time on that one) and some loose trim. It only has 116k, and it had everything the wife wanted, and everything I needed (4R100, LSD, 5.4, and tow package) so I probably over paid a little at $4500. I have to admit, I really like it. The leather is much more comfortable than the F150 and between the adjustments on the seat, pedals, and steering wheel, it fits my 6'2" frame and my wife's 5'1" short legs.

you have the narrow shoulder seats and wide console?

Door locks are about 100 a door, or you can do the rebuild on them to get them running again.

I went searching for the how to article, just to find out that you were the one that posted it in the first place
